Sky Ireland lets you chose the package that best suits you. And the price of the package that you buy depends on the entertainment packs and premium (sports and movies) packs that you subscribe to.
Sky Ireland satellite TV channels are grouped into packs, which you can choose so that you get to watch the stuff that you like most.

How much does Sky Ireland cost?
With Sky Ireland the basic Sky box is completely free of charge! And if that wasn’t enough the HD high definition Sky Plus HD Box is only €49 (new customers, Sky HD customers also need to subscribe to the monthly HD pack €14.75/month). The Sky+ box is also currently €49 for new Sky digital subscribers.
If you take Sky Multiroom, you will also need to take out a Multiroom subscription for €7.37 a month (normally €14.75) and buy another box - for each extra room. See Sky Multiroom costs here.

€20.50 = 1 Pack (with Movies - €49; with Sports - €52; with Movies & Sports - €61.50)
€22.50 = 2 Packs (with Movies - €51; with Sports - €54; with Movies & Sports - €63.50)
€24.50 = 3 Packs (with Movies - €53; with Sports - €56; with Movies & Sports - €65.50)
€26.50 = 4 Packs (with Movies - €53; with Sports - €56; with Movies & Sports - €65.50)
€28.50 = 5 Packs (with Movies - €55; with Sports - €58; with Movies & Sports - €67.50)
€30.50 = 6 Packs (with Movies - €57; with Sports - €60; with Movies & Sports - €69.50)
There is also a Bonus Pack that is free of charge and comes with the terrestrial channels RTE one and RTE two among others.
Please note, that to enjoy high definition programmes on Sky Ireland, as well as taking a Sky Plus HD Box you will also need to subscribe to the Sky HD channel for €14.75 a month.
