It can record both high definition and standard definition channels on to its hard drive via a twin tuner which allows you to either record to channels at once or watch one and record another at the same time! It has HD upscaling for SD channels which means that picture quality will be improved through an HDMI or component connection to your HD television. It has multiple resolution options including 1080p, 576p, 480p, 576i, and 480i. It also includes a HDMI-digital interface for perfect transmission of both visuals and audio that pass through the receiver.
