What is BT Vision?
BT Vision is on demand, digital TV over broadband – and you pay just for what you want to watch. The BT Vison V-box is a personal video recorder (PVR) just like Sky Plus and so you can pause, rewind and record up to 80 hours of your favourite shows. Freeview channels are also included as standard.
How much does BT Vision cost?
With BT Vision you can choose to:
(a) buy the V-box (£29.36 for the BT Vision V-box and £29.36 for connection) and pay only for the shows you want to watch (Pay per View) with no compulsory monthly TV subscription to pay (eg HD current films £4.84, HD library films £2.88, Classic films £3.38 or £3.86, Library films £1.94, Music videos from 28p, TV from 77p, Kids from 47p, Sport from 77p, FAPL Near Live & SPL £1.94).

How do I get BT Vision?
To receive BT Vision, all you need is a BT Total Broadband package (order BT Broadband before 30/01/09 and get £20 of your broadband bill), a BT phone connection and a TV aerial. The BT Vision V-box connects to your existing TV aerial - this is how you receive Freeview channels. The V-box also uses your BT HomeHub (which you receive when signing up to BT Total Broadband) to connect to your broadband line, accessing the BT Vision programming. To receive Freeview you will need to be in a Freeview reception area.
Installation is either by a BT Vision engineer or if you are confident setting up technical equipment you can use the BT Vision self-install which BT say takes about an hour. BT Vision is Mac-compatible.
